Hey Ayden, I grew up on Lake Erie and live close to Lake Michigan now. They are 100% intimidating. But like Mack said, find a spot on the lake (which may be a few miles out) shoal, hump, rock pile and fish it like you would a smaller lake. Just make sure to check the NOAA data first to see what the conditions are like.

Never have had the opportunity with Trout. But I love going to the Florida keys flats fishing Topwater for Tarpon and Barracuda.

Super relaxing day fishing the home chain of lakes. Just hung around the blue gill beds all day with a drop shot.

Our weeds are coming up too. Based on where the fish are in the weeds and the depth of the weeds try: Topwater, swimjig, Texas rig, drop shot, or drag your Carolina rig on the outside edges of those weeds.
