Brian Latimer as long as your using a modern Mercury 4 stroke you will be fine. Mercury upgraded the regulator in recent years and now prefer the AGM battery for the 4 stroke. I didn’t know any of this either, but my mechanic guy gave me a master class the other day.

Essentially if you catch a fish that fits the length or weight that is on the chart in your region and fill out the form. In-Fisherman sends you a master angler patch.

I don’t have much experience jig fishing for bass more so for walleye. So I really liked the info there. I knew nothing about reel maintenance so that was awesome. And can always use more practice when it comes to lake breakdowns.
