Went out for a few hours today. Tried to go deep, but didn’t see anything past 15feet. Had 2 smaller bass come to the boat but jumped off on a jig. Then fished shallow for Musky, had 3 follow to the boat with a big spinnerbait. Hopefully I can get out again before I need to winterize the boat.

I love taking my niece and nephews fishing. I keep it simple with a Senko, swimbait, or Topwater. If they catch one on a Topwater they’re hooked. I stick with a medium/medium light setup spinning. Something easy for them to manage.

Yeah it was a tuff one. Couldn’t do the normal braid line knot tug because the barb was caught under the back of the nail
