Brian Latimer I appreciate the insight!  Not saying I’m a better fisherman than the next guy but since November I’ve done nothing but look over notes, maps, the Lowrance app, get organized and plan for next year.  I’m also incredibly anxious to get back on the water to use what I’ve learned from your classes.

LOL, I’ll let my wife know we’re moving.  I honestly never realized that (other than KVD) and I spent the majority of my life growing up on Lake Erie and St. Lawrence.  I’m down to discuss further in class. Thanks!

Video topic?

What the heck to do when you live up North and everything is frozen so you can’t get out and fish?

I think it’s a good idea to show the masses you don’t need an expensive bass boat to fish/compete.  Honestly that’s partly what kept me from entering local tournaments.  Felt I couldn’t compete with the boat I had.  Grew up on Lake Erie, bought my first boat in 2010. 1979 19’ Sylvan aluminum deep v.  Had it for a decade, and still caught plenty of bass out of it after finally gaining the courage to enter in Wednesday nighter tournaments.

Hey happy to!  I actually made a 2.5 minute deep dive video before I knew it had to be a minute or less to post.  Happy Holidays!

Drop shot weight tip

I’ve used the Core Tackle hover rig a few times for really stubborn shallow bass.  It’s not a go-to for me but something I keep in the arsenal. It honestly reminds me of using the Banjo Minnow kit back in the day.  BLat Spinning Sick Stick for everything!

I like to use these clips for my drop shot weights.  Makes it convenient if you have to change weight sizes on the fly and won’t twist.

Why do you use an off set for casting and straight shank for flipping?
