Man that black/blue gremlin has caught me so many bass in the Spring. 

I have a tournament coming up on a lake where rock bass are known to be a nuisance and they’re always mixed in with Smallies.  Any tips to offer to try and keep rock bass off your bait?

When pulling up to a grassy area, how do you go about breaking it down to fish the high % spots?  We have areas with surface mats to submerged weeds in 13ft of water.  

2nd question….Also how would you fish weeds in 9-13ft of water that grow right to the surface?

Is that a Tilapia?
