Would you also use it for large mouth during the spawn? Ā Or are there more preferred baits for that? Ā

Just wanted to share this as an example of what Brian preaches in class. Ā Recently listened to a MLF podcast on the College Nationals at Toho this year. Ā Was won by two kids from Michigan who were not familiar with Florida at all. So they stuck to their strengths and did the opposite of what you’re ā€œsupposed to doā€ on these lakes. They said sticking to their strengths made them feel at home.Ā

I feel the same way except our rain is frozen and piles up as big piles of snow. Ā ā›„ļø. Spring can’t come soon enough.Ā

Nice, that’s what I try to do too. 4 go-to boxes with mixed baits based on season, depth, etc… and 1 Zman blockz for plastics. Ā But I still find myself brining wayyy too much when I travel to a new lake. Ā

I’m a big fan of organization. Ā What do you guys do to get your tackle organize?Ā

Brian LatimerĀ I appreciate the insight! Ā Not saying I’m a better fisherman than the next guy but since November I’ve done nothing but look over notes, maps, the Lowrance app, get organized and plan for next year. Ā I’m also incredibly anxious to get back on the water to use what I’ve learned from your classes.Ā

LOL, I’ll let my wife know we’re moving. Ā I honestly never realized that (other than KVD) and I spent the majority of my life growing up on Lake Erie and St. Lawrence. Ā I’m down to discuss further in class. Thanks!
