So on our local lakes we have weeds on top of our weeds all over the lake.  Even now I was surprised how much weed growth there is already. I’m thinking of using the same bait and technique but with a drop shot.  Or would I be better off Texas rigging a fluke on a jig head?

my guys and I were finally able to get out fishing this weekend.  But weren’t really able to do much.  Some ice on the lakes still and had us trapped in close to the launch.  Still fun to get out for a bit though.Â

I can do weightless for the shallow weeds. Â But what about for the 10-15ft deeper weed line where the biggin smallmouth hide?
