When researching a new lake for a tournament, what are some tips on why you should focus on one bass species vs another.   LMB / SMB

Hey i’m going to give it a go!  Don’t know until you try.  No matter what I’ll be fishing. 

Would love to be picked for this opportunity.  My father in law and I started bass fishing in 2018. We’ve been supporting the channel and BLat signature gear since. Bass fishing has been a work in progress but completed our first year of local Wednesday night tournaments.  Next year looking to take the next step and participate in a higher level of local tournaments.  Never been on or fished from a bass boat.  It would be an amazing experience to go on your new Falcon to fish, learn, and have some laughs with you.  Plus it would be a bonus to escape the Wisconsin winter and head down south to fish.

I am up in Madison, WI. Bass are still on the bank and docks, water temp low 70’s. As the temp drops, is there a particular type of structure smallmouth/largemouth go to as they head deaper?
