I really like the Lews Hypermag spinning reel. Have had really good luck with it. Also the Shimano SLX A. Again really good luck with it for the price.

I don’t Ice fish, so in the off season I focus on another hobby, cooking. It’s a nice mental break from fishing for 2 months. Then around now I start back up into fishing. Get myself mentally prepared for the season and make sure my gear is ready to go.

Mark Jonas oh ya glad you got out of there. No one ice fishes the Rhinelander flowage where our cabin is. I have always wondered if that would be a good area for ice fishing?
