How big was it?

Dude that thing is so big it’s like one of those bass pillows you get at Bass Pro.

How excited are you for Champlain this week?

What are some tips on fishing in high winds?  20-30mph.

Boat?  It was a 19’ aluminum deep V Sylvan.  That boat was so light, with the 115 I could get it up to 60mph in perfect conditions.

Catching fish and a top 10.  Living the dream!

Bennett Bryner great area, great fishing!  We have a small old cabin in Rhinelander and frequently fish Boom Lake.

To follow up from Brian Barde post…This old beast was called “Meat & Toys”.  1978 Sylvan 19’. But had 2007 Mercury 115hp.  Bought it for $2,800 from a guy that was getting divorced.  He had 4 boats at the time… My buddy and I split the cost of the boat and bought it together.  We had just got out of college and were poor.  But we had new jobs, he was an engineer for Fisher Price Toys and I was in sales for a meat packing company.  So we came up with the boat name, “Meat & Toys”.  Solid  aluminum boat.  Survived some big water days on Lake Erie.  Wish I had some better pictures of it though.
