Here's a pair from Lake Toho. This was my first time ever getting on a stack of fish right off some grass line. I've never caught so many big fish at one time. It was a good birthday week.

Fortunately this was the 2nd day of a "warm up." Two days prior it was 53 degrees. The day before 66 and this day it was 70. Dropped down to 53 the next day. It definitely was tough until we found them stacked up.

I use Z-man Zinkerz for durability. With no o-ring they will last through several catches. The only issue is that the elaztech is buoyant. So I use a light weighted (1/16) wacky hook with it for casting and to get it down. If I'm using any other non-elaztech worm, I'll put a heat shrink ring on it and then hook right through it. That helps to preserve the plastic as well.

I'm really excited to get that information, whether for this season or in the future.

Took a charter in FL during my birthday week. Unfortunately the guide couldn't get me on to anything until about an hour before the end. Fishing shiners is definitely not my favorite way to fish. However I do love catching fish! Look at the belly on this one!

A shaky head has slowly become my confidence bait. I also sometimes cut down my bait if I see the fish are a bit smaller. When would you use a ned rig over a shaky head?  Would you base it off of the bait action or the suitability of the jig head. Or both?
