This year I kept things a lot more simple than ever before.. I honestly used more of my basic tactics .. a lot of Texas rigged drop shots on heavy line, flipping jigs, simple Texas rigs and big glide baits.. the glide baits are only great when they work… but my main lure when things got wonky was a smh worm (junebug) on a vmc weedless neko 3/0 with a 1/4 oz drop shot weight on 15-17 lb test in laydowns and off shore structure.. and when things got nasty and I couldn’t fish much else I used a frog.. I only really use a frog when I know fish are in the nasty and I can’t get anything else to effectively fish it..

Brian Latimer but honestly the real highlight wasn’t really winning it was more about getting out to fish with people in the group. Fishing with Tim Dodson , Ricky Taylor and Ray Brunetti .. the friendships I managed to obtain in the app will outway any tournament winning I have had by far..
