No not at all. We welcome you and everyone to fish one or both of the last event. The difference is points for last event. 100 points total for regular season events and 120 points for championship. I hope all is well.

Every trip on the water gives you information and that is a win!!! Combine it with reading, watching and learning off the water and improvements 12 months from now will be significant. Thanks BLat for all the information, tips, tricks, encouragement, videos, time and effort you give us to get out on the water and get 1% better every trip.

Some Doc T baits in the Barde boat.

I ran one talon for years on my Lowe FM aluminum boat. Here is what I liked: It stopped and allowed me to fish a dock, lay down, or shoreline. Launching the boat, I only needed one line to tie up. If I was moving along a shoreline and needed to stop, one click halted my forward progress without excessive trolling motor propulsion/noise. You could touch your trolling motor to spin the boat in the direction you want to point with little force versus lots of force and potentially moving out of the zone in windy situations. Beaching your boat with one power pole is still very effective because the bow is on the beach, so one pole is nearly as effective as two because you have two solid anchor points(caveat: high wind/waves could more easily set you adrift). The negative: you will spin. Docking still requires a line. BTW: I am running one talon now because the other one is in the shop. if you can only afford one I still recommend it. Then save up for the other one if you want it.
