This tournament did not have the results I wanted but I choose to be positive, learn and enjoy the processs and grind. Being uncomfortable is usually when you are learning. It was so memoriable and I had a blast weighing my one 1-10 fish. Mike B. the tournament director is great! Happiness is a choice you can make too. 

This Cayuga Lake Bass cost me a lot of time but gave a some money back and clearly I am thrilled to catch it!! Light and variable what felt like 20mph south wind blowing straight up the lake made it like an ocean. Ken and I caught 18 lbs on Wed but not on tournament day. I appreciate the experience and now can say I fished Cayuga. Nothing broke so far which is good. I appreciate the support from everyone. I learned a lot and got more experience. I LOVE SUZUKI! Somehow I got the Suzuki Contingency with one fish... IMHO, the most reliable outboard on the water.

Rock Crawler help me out this weekend. Got some money for being the top placing Suzuki in the tournament. Thanks Suzuki Marine for the contingency. 26th out of 77 boats on Lake Champlain. Thanks Doc T. for the custom rock crawlers they helped me cull up a couple of times. 

It was not without adversity. Broke a Talon. Got a nail and had to do some roadside screw removal and tire plugging. Ended up with another 16 lb bag on Champlain. Finesse jig, not a crappie lure Mack ;-) and Doc's rock crawler did the job. I made a move that was not the best, I should have stayed put and made another pass thru the rocky shoal to hopefully crank up another 3-4 lb'er to get closer to 18 pounds to put me in the top ten. I am grateful for every trip! Just making the first cast is a blessing. I always try to remember "what you take for granted, someone else is wishing for" 

Ken and I had a memorable few days fishing on Champlain and some Texas Roadhouse. 😋
