1—How are things changing where I am? Water temperatures are starting to drop, days are shorter, and lots of recreational boaters are leaving. Mornings on the lake are chilly and the lake is void of boaters. The geese are flying to visit BLat.

2 - How are fish changing? Small fish seem to be active in the shallows and big bait balls. I am seeing more fish setting up on transition shelves and in shallow areas. It has been very still and warm up here and the fishing has been tough on glass flat lakes. The fall transition seems to have stalled a bit with the warm flat weather.

3—How am I changing? I have not changed too much yet. My confidence baits, jig and senko, are still working, just not getting lots of bites. I am throwing a little more spinnerbait and crankbait here and there. Should I start throwing more moving baits?
