Ditto. For me, I focus on rodbuilding and a couple of years ago getting my Captains License. in a month or so I will be eager to get to SC for the Retreat/Championship/Tron Memrorial Tournaments. 

I like the Daiwa Tatula CT Baitcaster, I have some KastKing MegaJaws - they are OK. I like the Daiwa better. For spinning I use Pflueger President which are OK and cheaper. You generally cannot go wrong with Shimano and Daiwa.
