For me, double Uni Line to leader and Palomar for the lure. Once I learn a knot that is pretty darn good I tend to stick with it because I just want to go fishing. I will give this one a shot it is always good to learn more and have it in the arsenal of knowledge. I also want to learn the FG but I also want to just fish.

Generally, my sonar is always on. In clear water, I assume you don't need it. In dirty water or deeper water, I use FFS it to find fish or structure likely to hold a bedding fish like a log or rock in 4-8 ft of water. Toss something at that log or rock.

Had a great weekend! SUF School must be helping!

Second place on Saturday! First Place on Sunday!

What a whirl wind of 4 days!!!! Fix injector (thanks Thayer's Marine, Inc. for having part in stock and quick shipping), had a great time fishing my favorite lake, then I broke that leaf spring on the boat trailer on the way home (thanks to the Greylock Bass crew for roadside assistance), spent all day getting parts and installing new springs, next day I fish a Saturday tournament (2nd place), fish a Sunday tournament (1st place). I am ready for work on Monday so I can relax!!

I have two tournaments this weekend. Adversity is dope, right? Injector fails last Sunday. It was delivered Wednesday night, installed, configured and tested Wed. night (yesterday), Thursday my buddy and I went to Lake George to hit some pre-spawn beauties. We had a great day on the water. On the way home my leaf spring decided it had enough. Adversity is Dope, and I really want to make it to these two tournaments this weekend... I know what I will be doing today.
