It would be nearly impossible to enforce a ban on FFS. I agree, creel limits would be a better option.

That particular lake is just largemouth. Two other lakes down the road are smallmouth lakes.

I witnessed massive crappie hauls on one of the ponds near me this summer. They cleaned them at the dock every week and left the carcasses. How many is too many?

The ice is finally gone! Here is the first largemouth of 2024 from the boat on a red crawfish rattle trap. I worked on the motor this winter, and it ran great! It was 45 degrees water.
