Welcome! Do you have any fish pics to share?

I had this on one of my reels. The line was spinning on the spool. I took the line off and put one wrap of electrical tape on there and re-spooled it to stop the line from spinning on the reel. The other thing is the drag discs could be messed up.

That sucks!! How did you get it out?

I had a treble past the barb just behind the fingernail on my thumb with the fish still attached and shaking. That one sucked... I just used pliers and pulled it out and kept on fishing.

The trolling motor got weeds caught up in the prop. I turned the power up to 9 to cut through the weeds to get out of them. I was in the weeds, maybe 4 feet or so. The motor turned on for about 2 seconds, and then nothing. The prop sheered right off the shaft. There was just a nub of plastic prop left. Or it was a gator, as Kevin said, but I think I would have noticed a gator. I put the grass ninja on there to hopefully never have that happen again. I tried the grass Ninja out yesterday on some light weeds up here, and it does clean the grass off the prop.

I like that you are doing these. If no one else signs up I will be a filler.

Back in Business with a couple of new add-ons - THMarine GForce quick release nut for easy change on the water and Grass ninja blade to help eliminate grass build up that broke the last one.
