Those apps are great because they allow you to plan Waypoints and Routes ahead of time, which can be helpful if you find things like ditches and drains before you get to the lake. Lowrance has a similar app. It allows you to sync those waypoints to the Lowrance unit on the boat.

Cleaning them is a pain. 2-3 times a year we will get some to eat.

Wishing for Open water... My boat is envious of all your boats getting out there. 🥶

If you have a Lowrance Elite or higher with AT - Another Tidbit - You can also record the Lowrance active target video - On active target screen -> right hand menu -> more options -> record video. Here is an example of using that video during editing. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/9UoH4z_D9WE

Yes, our winds are typically westerly up here. It sets up similar situations.

My thoughts - I will search for bait and or structure on the wind blown shore first because in my mind it is being disturbed and the bait may take advantage of that. It makes fishing difficult and if they are biting it is worth it. If that is not working I would go to the river or creek inlets because it is also bringing in food and nutrients. If that is not working I loose my mind and start fishing random stuff. ;-)

Yes Brian Latimer I went out and bought me a couple. It was easy and I could control it. 😀 Now I just need the lakes to thaw out.
