Nathan Sipes I agree, I do not use crank baits enough. I need to focus on them next year.

I was able to get out this afternoon and found them most likely on their winter structure up here in the NE - a bit deeper - water temp 44ish.

At the base of the sixth tree is a 3-5 lb female, while all the males are at the edge of the tree line. I am letting them go to strategically place my cast or boat to drop bait on her. ;-)
