That sucks!! How did you get it out?

I had a treble past the barb just behind the fingernail on my thumb with the fish still attached and shaking. That one sucked... I just used pliers and pulled it out and kept on fishing.

The trolling motor got weeds caught up in the prop. I turned the power up to 9 to cut through the weeds to get out of them. I was in the weeds, maybe 4 feet or so. The motor turned on for about 2 seconds, and then nothing. The prop sheered right off the shaft. There was just a nub of plastic prop left. Or it was a gator, as Kevin said, but I think I would have noticed a gator. I put the grass ninja on there to hopefully never have that happen again. I tried the grass Ninja out yesterday on some light weeds up here, and it does clean the grass off the prop.

I like that you are doing these. If no one else signs up I will be a filler.

I hate those days! Way to power thru it and learn.

Can you take me to ICast? ;-) Clearly I did not make it there. :-( SO, What did you see at iCAST that impressed you or you are excited to try out?

Nice Smallie! What ever you did to catch it, do more of that. ;-)

Back in Business with a couple of new add-ons - THMarine GForce quick release nut for easy change on the water and Grass ninja blade to help eliminate grass build up that broke the last one.

What type of emergency parts/tools do you carry on your boat? I recently broke a trolling motor prop and that significantly limits your fishing day.
