How do you guys calm yourself for tournaments? Like how do you keep your focus when it’s 11:00 and you don’t have a fish in the boat. Do you stick with the plan you have laid out for yourself? I always get flustered and wind up going out in left field then on the way home I’m kicking myself for not sticking to my plan. So I guess I’m asking how do you keep your composure?

I was reading about Co-anglers bringing mobile electronics. Is this going to far? Or is this something that a Co-angler should consider

If you’re in the back of the boat and your boater is live scoping in the middle of the lake. What would you guys throw? I try to fan cast all the way around the back half of the boat with a Carolina rig or a Texas rigged worm. I try to drag and find some sort of structure, which I haven’t done yet lol . What do you guys and girls think would be the best strategy? Especially in the months of January and February

I was thinking about the live and I understand that the boater has a lot of money and time invested in a boat and the gas and he’s been on the water pre fishing for 3 days before the tournament. And then as co’s we walk up and jump in your boat and there are some co’s that may feel entitled and don’t respect you or your boat. And maybe there should be a sportsmanship rule for the CO’s. And some guys are just trying to get in the sport and don’t know how to clean there feet and respect your boat. I’ve fished a few BFL as a co but not a lot and I’ve never had a problem with a boater they we’re all great guys.but when you text or call them the night before they will not tell you anything about what there plan is or how to treat there boat. And I think a boater should explain trying to keep the dirt out of the boat and trying not to hook the seats to the co the night before. Some CO’s come to learn some CO’s come to get a free fishing trip and that’s just how it is. A few of us are there to learn and compete. Some of the CO’s are just as exited as the boater about the competition. I want to learn form the boater and I love the challenge of catching fish when the conditions are not great for me. But I also want to make the regionals and try my best to get to the all American. All boaters aren’t the same but neither are all CO’s! I’ll get off my soap box now lol sorry for the long post

I have an old 1986 basscat with a 150 johnson motor. It’s only the second boat with a steering wheel I’ve owned. My question is is there a year limit on any of the tournaments trails. I like co angling but South Carolina has mor co’s than Boaters so it’s tuff to link up with anyone. And any tips to help make my boat tournament friendly and does anyone have tips on making my old boat more tournament friendly

What’s up everyone! I got inspired by the last YouTube video the B-Lat put out about looking over the average Joe fishing the bank. And I want to know if anyone can tell me a good camera suitable for making some content about bank fishing?
