Nice. I used the hybrid hunter for the first time this year in grass on the Potomac River. I’m amazed how true it can run in thick grass. During the summer, I have used the full sized one also to catch fish.

Excellent advice. 1 fish at a time ….so true!

Excellent James to remind anglers to get some sleep. This is so important on two day tournaments.

I have been going through this same thought in my club tournaments. I’m doing better just relaxing and staying focused. I’ll write in my phone or a 3 x 5 card the night before on techniques/lures I’m thinking of using. Reviewing them when you feel the pressure is a good way to keep you on track. A fellow angler gave me some great advice about when you are running out of tournament time that you will naturally speed up. He said you want to make a conscious effort to slow down to catch fish. I have put this advice to work and 2 out 3 tournaments I was able to catch another bass to help my total.

P.S. BLAT - also said when you get that thought to move or change technique “just do it - right then”. I hope this helps. 😀

I do a lot after I fish. Should I have changed my color, size or action? Thats what keeps us coming back.
