Worms - Green Pumpkin with red or chartreuse specks

Topwater - Bone Spook, Horny Toads Green Pumpkin with a pearl belly

Jerkbait - shad colored must have some white in it.

Spinnerbait - mostly white with shad colored trailer or shad colored spinnerbait with pro blue colored trailer

Small swimbait - I’m beginning to like some type of purple or blue in it.

Crankbaits - in the grass , original Baby minus ones in shad colored with some pink in it. I get some knockoffs painted for me that work really well.

Swimjig- natural colors with some purple in it.

Looks like they are post spawn.  Real finicky.

My local Occoquan Reservoir that only allows 9.9hp.

In Virginia, the past week we are approaching 90 degrees so I’m starting to sweat. I’m going to Buggs Island this week so I’m hoping for cooler weather.

Plenty of grass but you have to twitch it just right. 😀

I like the dual blades.  Let us know how it’s working for you.

The old timers say you don’t want a full moon before you fish but I have not seen my results change. They also say it affects the tide in the Potomac River. I’m just trying to fish when I can. 😀

Excellent. I’ll try them at Lake Anna on Wednesday this week. Thanks for the information.

I usually will use something else after 6 foot water depth when using a wacky rig. What would be your cutoff depth for a wacky rig?Â
