Fishing points are my favorite, especially when I find a long deep sided one not obvious with the naked eye.

Nice one!

Thanks for the information. I want to learn to find those ditches and drains. It will be interesting to go back to my favorite areas I caught fish and get the details on what’s below the surface. 

I have used Google maps to identify shallow structures and creek beds. If you click on historical time lines for a map you can see when a drought occurs exposing the structures and creek beds. It awesome when you can see natural bends and flow of the water.
