I like to catch them but I have never targeted them as I don’t know what I am doing. When I do catch one while bass fishing this year now I know how to use the minnow style plastic to target the rest of the school. Thank you BLat!

Nice ones and great tip for us to think about while using a chatterbait. I caught one bass this past weekend on the Potomac River in less than one foot also.

Nice! I too don’t mind a little rain. The bass don’t care and the rain allows them to feed shallow. I look forward to using my new gremlins.

You can’t catch them if you don’t try. You will be on them before you know it.

That’s a great start for the tournament.

Good information. I love fishing points and trying to figure them out.  I am looking forward to finding those not so obvious points thru phone apps. Thank you for subject.

That’s awesome. I’m glad you had a good weekend.

Fished a club tournament with a 15 inch size limit. Caught 3 fish and they were all 14 inches. Frustrated weekend with 20-25 mph winds on the Potomac River that blew water out of places to fish when the tide went out. Water was muddy and low 50’s with some grass growing. I used Colorado bladed spinnerbaits, black and blue chatterbaits and lipless crankbaits. Threw Texas rigged plastics against wood when in back of the creeks. Saw my partner catch a 5 pounder with orange lipless crankbait on a rocky point. Only 5 anglers caught fish from the club so I wasn’t alone. I think I was using the right baits it was just difficult to present the baits properly.

Thanks
