Each point felt like Nascar fishing as I had time for about 3 casts as the wind pushed me by. Luckily they would hit on first or second cast. 🐟🐟🎣

Ideal fishing

Cloudy and a steady wind but still can maintain boat control

Water temperature- 58-64 degrees 

Air temp - cool in morning and high 60

Love to have clouds present all day

Favorite Type of lake is a reservoir - smaller out of the way and good variety spots. 

River system in the spring when grass is emerging is a close 2nd. 

Virginia is not any better. 🤪

For the Small Craft Advisory, south winds 10 to 20 kt with gusts up to 30 kt. For the Gale Watch, west winds 10 to 20 kt with gusts up to 34 kt possible.

Good information. Got another windy day in Va but I’m going try our local reservoir points tomorrow. 

Bass can’t read so sometimes they don’t follow the book that we all know.  

I like to catch them but I have never targeted them as I don’t know what I am doing. When I do catch one while bass fishing this year now I know how to use the minnow style plastic to target the rest of the school. Thank you BLat!

Nice ones and great tip for us to think about while using a chatterbait. I caught one bass this past weekend on the Potomac River in less than one foot also. 

Nice! I too don’t mind a little rain. The bass don’t care and the rain allows them to feed shallow. I look forward to using my new gremlins.  

You can’t catch them if you don’t try. You will be on them before you know it.
