Texas rigged gremlin in the hydrilla grass strikes again!

Happy 4th of July fellow anglers!

I’m going to fish Roanoke Rapids, NC next week. Anyone got any ideas of how to catch bass there?  I hear they have spotted bass also.

Texas rigged black and blue gremlin strikes again in the grass. 

Heat wave coming to Virginia so I got out early and snagged a few before it got hot. Shallow running crankbaits were the hit. 

I went out fishing today with my friendly 4 inch shad soft plastic swim bait looking for largemouth bass. This nice 23 inch striper decided to give it a try. I don’t usually get the thrill of my spinning gear zinging as the fish is taking line out so this was great to experience. Looking forward to more. 😀 🎣

Got out for a few hours today and caught this nice one on a white swim jig. It’s a good start for the June SUF tournament. 

Not the targeted species but the Potomac River channel cats love the Gremlin. 

Got on the Potomac River one day this weekend and caught one nice bass on a shallow running crankbait in the grass.
