I got out today before the rain came in. Caught some real nice ones on a large profile shad colored spinnerbait with an orange boot tail.  Fished in 4-8 feet of dirty water that was 46 degrees on a cloudy day. BLAT teaching an old dog new tricks and making me look good. 👍 😀🐟

While organizing your tackle storage throw in a moisture absorbing gel packet or two. Even in a waterproof storage container moisture could enter by condensation, lure returns and just plain water drops. The low cost of the packets will save you from rust on your baits. Just a thought. 😀🎣

Watched the cold muddy water workshop and used the spinner bait. Caught two nice ones on a shad colored spinnerbait with tandem gold Colorado blades with an orange paddle tail. Water was stained to muddy, 44 degrees , 4-6 feet of depth on a cloudy day.

BLat speaking the truth in SUF!  Making me look good with the bass on the end of my line. 😀🐟🎣

When using the Neko rig in grass, how much weight do you use? Should you try to gently get the rig through grass or heavy enough to drive the rig to the bottom?  I would be fishing in 4-6 feet of water in the spring and early summer before that grass gets too thick.

Suppose to be cold and rainy for the next few days in my area. I’m going organize my tackle. I use the ping pong table and lay everything out. I can then package everything in groups like crankbaits, spinnerbaits, worming techniques , soft plastics and terminal tackle. Label the containers and Then I’m more efficient on the waterways.

Ref the Live Vs Workshop , I like the Live Stream and would not want that to disappear. I think it’s more personal and enjoy the ability to get answers to questions directly. I enjoy seeing Brian’s natural reaction to the question and enthusiasm. Giveaways are nice too!😀
