Tough fishing on the Potomac today. Several fish came up short today and got only one to count. Fishing a shad colored lipless crankbait along a rocky point with grass. Wind was blowing pretty good that made the water cloudy so you had to zip it along to get the bass attention. Caught a bonus striper.

Potomac River chatterbait fish. Found out the bass wanted the chatterbait Yo-Yo’d thru the grass to get a bite.

Got out for a couple of hours on the water today. This one was the best of the day, caught in less than 5 feet of water

Caught my first walleye ever on the St Lawrence River this week. 7lbs 6 oz, not a bad start. Epic week! PB for Smallmouth, Pike and Walleye.

Epic day on the St. Lawrence River today. BLat speaks the truth and I listened! Brian did a St Lawrence River breakdown with me on Friday and gave me specific things to look for along with techniques. Today, I found islands and shoals that were in strong current. Power fished with crankbaits and caught 10 quality smallmouth fish. Smashed my personal best twice with the largest at 5lbs 4oz. Nothing smaller than 3lbs all day.
Thank you Brian for taking the time to share your knowledge with me and helping me be a successful angler. 😀🐟👍🎣
