Got out for a couple hours on my local reservoir. Threw the spinnerbait and crankbait. Big blades and loud for the murky water.

I’m working on getting organized so I can be more efficient next year with my fishing. Here is a before and after picture.

Just a little bridge fishing on a river creek. Lipless crankbait in about 12 foot of 62 degree water on a cloudy day.

Fished my local reservoir, crazy 80 degrees today in Virginia. Water temperature was 65 with water clarity 12 inches. Caught one bass on a spinnerbait early but they didn’t seem to be chasing bait. Found a rocky ledge in 20 feet and caught 4 bass on a free rig with black/blue craw. Good day and no tricks for Halloween 🎃.

I got out with my buddy’s small boat and went way up river to the shallows in my local reservoir. Water clarity was less than a foot but caught fish in 3-4 feet. Started with the spinnerbait and caught 1. Running the spinnerbaits threw dying grass, rock and wood laydowns but no further bites. Had a thought to throw the jerkbait around rocks and immediately change to it. Caught two good ones. Had a weightless fluke tied on but wasn’t feeling it until the sun warmed up. Then hung the fluke around some laydowns and caught two more.
Smiled when my buddy caught the biggest of the day on a spinnerbait.

Fall fishing has not been on fire but when I get a bite they have been good ones. No dinks!

Fall fishing today. They seemed to like the bladed baits today in less that 6 feet of water near drop offs. I forced a smile when my buddy caught a bigger fish. 😀

Took the kayak out today for a scenic tour. Threw a line out also and caught a few nice bass. Then the snakehead showed up to give me a good fight. Water was dirty so used baits with a blade to catch them.

12 1/2 inchers were biting today on my local reservoir. Water was cloudy so used a chatterbait to get their attention. Would have liked something bigger but still a nice day on the water. 😀
