Finished 9th out of 17 anglers for the club tournament. Largest fish was 3.57lbs. Used a wake bait ,ZMan Baby Jack and swimbait all in the grass. Nice day!

Today, I went out found the birds, found the bait and caught bass. Then the other boaters were creeping closer and closer to me.

The grass is really good this year in the places that I fish on the Virginia side. Maryland side seems to be a little slower and that’s unusual. The wind has been blowing towards Maryland so their water is pretty murky. We have had a lot of wind and rain during the spring/ early summer. I’m finding different areas to fish when my buddies take me out. Belmont and the point around Mason Meck State park thru the main river has been good. You bring the boat , I’ll fish with you 😀
