One way I have fun fishing in the summer is I go bluegill fishing. I take my fly rod with cheap poppers and just go catch bluegill. What’s fun about it is I catch a lot of fish , I don’t have to think about it and I can just live in the moment and enjoy being on the water.

Just completed my first ever BFL! I got rattled in the morning but settled down and caught 2 bass that scored. Finished 72nd out of 115 co- anglers on the Potomac River. Picked up 179 points for the divisional final. Thank you B.Lat for the opportunity!
