St Lawrence River 4 pounder! SUF member, Jamie McDonnell , suggested I use a spybait and it worked.
Thank you Jamie

Epic day on the St. Lawrence River today. BLat speaks the truth and I listened! Brian did a St Lawrence River breakdown with me on Friday and gave me specific things to look for along with techniques. Today, I found islands and shoals that were in strong current. Power fished with crankbaits and caught 10 quality smallmouth fish. Smashed my personal best twice with the largest at 5lbs 4oz. Nothing smaller than 3lbs all day.
Thank you Brian for taking the time to share your knowledge with me and helping me be a successful angler. πŸ˜€πŸŸπŸ‘πŸŽ£

Potomac River snakehead gets in the way when you are bass fishing.

Yummy!

I have been using them this summer on the Potomac River grass. Surprisingly, it does a pretty good job coming to thru the grass and don’t be afraid to use to the larger profile ones. When you snag grass just let it float back up and you will probably be free. Be ready for a strike afterwards.Β
