Yes, I have lakes and a tidal river system. But all of the obvious laydowns get a lot of pressure. I think you mentioned before to make precise casts , different angles and repeated casts.

I went out fishing today with my friendly 4 inch shad soft plastic swim bait looking for largemouth bass. This nice 23 inch striper decided to give it a try. I don’t usually get the thrill of my spinning gear zinging as the fish is taking line out so this was great to experience. Looking forward to more. 😀 🎣
