Fishing points are my favorite, especially when I find a long deep sided one not obvious with the naked eye.

Thanks for the information. I want to learn to find those ditches and drains. It will be interesting to go back to my favorite areas I caught fish and get the details on what’s below the surface. 

I have used Google maps to identify shallow structures and creek beds. If you click on historical time lines for a map you can see when a drought occurs exposing the structures and creek beds. It awesome when you can see natural bends and flow of the water.

Good information for me to use. Thanks for the tips on reel and line choices as I move forward. I’m hoping to get to the Carolina’s this year and try it out.
