BLAT, thanks for explaining the difference between the 2000 and 3000 model of spinning reels. I have been having trouble finding a combination that works well. 

I like the braid to fluorocarbon setup and I have tried several knots that can be done when you are sitting on the couch at home. But, once I’m on the water with the wind, waves, and low light it can be quite a non enjoyable event to re-tie a knot.  😕

I’m looking forward to finding the video for an easier knot to tie. 🤔🤞

Ps There is such a debate among my other anglers over the length of the leader that it’s comical. I do the same thing- as long as my arms are apart. 😀😀😀
