Today I got my pb 8 lb 3 oz and I have to admit that it was all credit to Brian Latimers sufschool. I used the techniques and tackle that I normally wouldn't use or didn't have enough understanding to use. Thank you Brian for making things easy to follow and understand. My fishing game has forever improved (not that it was bad before) and this is less than a month in. Caught in Florida, neko rig 

In regards to the screw lock, I agree with everything you said however if they were to cut the screw lock back 3/4 of the corkscrew for just enough to hold the bait, do you think it would still affect hook up ratio ?

Ken Pfeiffer caught 25 on a Texas rigged green pumpkin lizard, caught 2 on a lipless crank bait and one on a creature/craw bait. Yes fish fry afterwards and good fellowship!

Did a little bit of pond management at the request of the owner. Challenges I faced was being able to throw the fluro line instead of braid and having more line snaps more often due to it being 10-12 lb line. Was too aggressive on my hooksets and had to turn it down a touch to adapt to the fluro carbon

Brian Latimer ever thought about doing a drawing or giveaway of your old electronics or graphs to the students of sufschool? It could be ones that you have since upgraded or have ones that vendors may have sent you etc. just an idea plus it would be a great marketing catch for other students to join. My two cents.
