What 3 month long tourney, Mack?

I fished Kentucky lake yesterday and skunked. Made a poor choice and ended up seeing nothing but gar. Congrats fishing well on a tough day!

I have not fished Dale Hollow, but I’m giving Kentucky Lake a second try!

He normally has three each year.

I’m fishing Kentucky lake here soon. Do you have any advice for me as a kayak fisherman? I won’t be able to cover a lot of water. I’m going to research and find a good area that will have a good second option in it or near it.

It’s called Lake Graham, in Tennessee. It was my first time fishing it. The entire lake is covered in trees. I’m not sure how a boat would be able to get anywhere. There was a lot of wind and my buddy made good work early on main lake points getting hit by the wind. I stayed on the main lake, but it was an interesting area. There were three islands in 3-5ft of water with a nice shelf that dropped to 5-9 ft and that’s where I positioned my boat and caught them shallow.
