Mark Jonas I appreciate you sharing. I never get to venture out far either. I’m from north MS and fish in TN a lot, but other than that I haven’t been anywhere else. I think you have the right idea about seeing more of the lake, attach my yak to the back of your boat😂

Yeah, I understand that. I just want a good medium/ med light rod with a extra fast tip. There’s several combinations that I could work around for the lure I will be using.
