Kevin Skovenski little bit of all. Setting the hook is tough with the tall pads, and getting it pulled in the the pads is also tough. Or it's just me.

Alex Sterling I'll be more aware next time. I have a habit of keeping my rod down to keep them from jumping. I'll work on keeping it up. Appreciate the feedback!

Kayak gets in there no problem. Trying to get the fish out of the thick stuff. Can't fand an effective way to keep them on the line from deep in the middle.

It's green, it has spots, seems legit.

I always pull the bait down stream fish the edges and points of the pad lines. Haven't figured out a way to reach out and touch the deep pads. I usually toss a Texas rig worm of some kind, but I lose about 90 percent of the bites from deep in the pads.

I used to hate it. It's slowly becoming my confidence area on a lake.
