Its a dopamine hit when that braid squeals!

Welcome. Tons of great people and even better information. I would highly recommend building confidence in one style of finesse (wacky, neko, Shakey head, drop shot) and one style of power fishing, (cranking, swimbaits, swim jigs) once you have a strong feel for two styles, start building off that based on what body of water you normally fish. Everyone enjoys different styles so find your comfort and build off those.

Small kayak only lake over here in Virginia

Brian Latimer the main issue I'm having is long casts to where they are moving and blowing up on bluegill. When I get one to bite I lose it about 90% of the time bringing it to the boat.

For the most part. If they blow up on the shoreline I can't reach it without forcing the kayak through and disrupting the water line pads.

Kevin Skovenski little bit of all. Setting the hook is tough with the tall pads, and getting it pulled in the the pads is also tough. Or it's just me.

Alex Sterling your a great sales man 😂

Full disclosure. I've never thrown or rigged one up.

Alex Sterling I'll be more aware next time. I have a habit of keeping my rod down to keep them from jumping. I'll work on keeping it up. Appreciate the feedback!
