I think the main thing with fishing and kids is... Fish for the kid not you. I burned my son out too early on fishing... Only until the last in person class and SUF Classic in Milledgeville did he get the bug back. Now I take him and if he fishes he fishes. If he halfway gives up, I let him... It's about the time together not the amount of fish caught.

I also have the Plano crate bag, use the top and sides for creature baits and other hard shell soft plastics

Yes... I've had a flashlight dropped. Did not realize it until I went back and listened to the recording. It was laying flat on a table and rolled on to the floor. Thought we may have hit the table, but listening to the recording you hear it drop and roll off the table and hit the floor.
