I know it's late in the evening, but Lake Juliette in Forsyth GA. I have caught some good size bass... But it's only been from the bank and pretty much in one location. Its relatively small compared to other local lakes and it is crystal clear and deep. The are no residences only maybe to or three docks at the two boat ramps... From the Little o can tell from Jon boat and Kayak is the bottom is rock and grass... There are a lot of stripers, pan fish, and big bass. It's just a matter of finding them and them biting... You can literally throw one thing and catch them, then the next day with the same conditions and times.. not catch a thing...

Question: in the wading video you said cast behind the cover... Is that for the up steam side approach or the down stream side approach?

Folks evacuating or anyone who knows of anyone evacuating from the hurricane my town has some options... Not sure on vacancies or anything like that. But please reach out, I'm sure they can point you in the right direction. Stay safe! (See screenshots)

(Long post, sorry.)
I've seen some kayak post and questions about set-ups. So I figured I would share mine. (Prior to the alligator incident I posted about last month... Found out I had a crack and that's what caused me to take on water.)
I use a Perception Outlaw 11.5 sit on top kayak. No electronics. There are ram mount holes pre-drilled and capped off. I installed the rail mount cup holder and paddle holders. I also installed a rail mount system on the nose of the kayak for my Anchor Wizard. It is shown with the a mushroom weight. Turned out to be too big and I dropped down to a drag chain style weight... I DIYd my son's old pencil pouch on my seat to hold lip grabbers, scissors, leader line. I have a Plano Weekender Crate tackle bag. Have soft plastic organized from fluke style baita, creature baits, and shakey head baits in the side bags. Hard style and terminal tackle in multiple 3600 boxs. I'll also carry the 3700 double sided storage boxe of my TRD style baits. The kayak has built in double barrel rod holders. But on my crate I installed with zip ties a three rod holder. The middle one I installed with zip ties a flag and beacon light. This has been a great kayak and I have gone just a out everywhere in it with ease... From fishing for shoal bass in swifter water, ponds, big water on the lake and rivers, and an inshore bay area. The hull did crack and I'm in the process of deciding on and upgrade kayak, going through the repair process, or the warranty process.(Just gotta find my paperwork). If you are thinking about an Outlaw I would still say go for it! I'm looking at the Crescent Shoalie FS. I'm including the pictures of my kayak and then the crack. I welcome y'all's advice, opinions, and recommendations. Thanks.
