Y'all I am beyond ecstatic! I have not bass fished in months! We have lamb showing with my son for FFA... It's been rough, everyday we've been doing something with these lambs... Getting discouraged about not placing very much.... But not today!!! My son was a straight GOAT showing a lamb!!! Got 3rd in showmanship, 1st in wether market weight class, Reserve Champion in market wethers overall.... And gosh dang Grand Champion in Georgia Born lambs!!! I could not take a picture with him because I would have lost it. Not to mention my wife has been running things in the shadows and deserves her spot on the stage!

Wife's not happy, but I did a little retail therapy!

Welp yesterday lil man and lamb got 5th place in weight class in the GA born competition! Five out of six, with a top five ain't bad. It's his first win in an association show and improvement from all his other competitions. I had to explain to him that a win is any improvement. But the best part.... He wanted to take a break next weekend and so I finally get to fish!!!

Happy 4th fam!!! Y'all have fun fishing... We out here lambin' it!!! 900 million° in the barn, bout ready to soak in some of these sheep's water buckets! Hahaha!

Well folks... An end of an era has come, 21 years as a deputy sheriff. Now taking time to take care of personal business with my dad's estate and help with my in-laws. But hopefully in a month or so I will be hired by the local police department to be a school resource officer for the local highschool.

With end of the school year events and dealing with and removing a lot of toxicity in my life I haven't been able to fish for a while ... It's killing me but I know it as much as an escape it is. It will be more stressful for me to pick up and go.

All I know is God opens a door you better step through.

Man on Man I don't know about y'all but I need these next 17 days to hurry up! Life has lifed like no other this month. Stomach virus the first weekend, lost my father the second week, wife had surgery last week... I need a big ol' reset!
