Kevin Skovenski it's above the fall line. So a pretty good ways. A horrible ref photo but it's a haul by nautical miles... The altamaha river is made by the ocmulgee and oconnee rivers. They have had sites of some near Macon too John.

So what's the weirdest thing y'all have brought up with or instead of a fish? Caught this a couple weeks ago, this was my first bladed jig fish. And my fist Hybrid Hunter crank bait on a bladed jig. Not gonna lie I'm still salty I wasn't able to get it measured before it flipped out the kayak!

Should you buy the new Owner Multi Offset hooks?.... Yep. Bought 3/0 and 4/0. They are perfect for soft plastic jerk baits. The hook eye is vertical instead of horizontal, definitely helps with that twitch twitch action. Disclaimer: results may very hahaha!

Well I fished my first "In person" tournament this past weekend. Went the the Flint River for what I'd like to say was a "spotted bass eradication tournament". It was sucky conditions for everyone. Not big bags at all so that made me feel better. I only caught one but recent rains had the rivers rising and murky... Still had a blast and represented the SUF Family! It was nice to get away for the day and fish new waters.

How to "read" the surface of the water... When and where to throw for different baits on different structure. Proper boat positioning.
