I live in the Lake Wylie area, but also fish Murray, Hartwell, Keowee, Clark’s Hill, Russell etc. Any of my fellow SUF “classmates” in this area interested in meeting up with me to fish?

Tim Dodson - so when you switched to boater there were enough cos to match up with you - so you were able to fish? If so maybe better to just register as a co and hope for the best?

I’m interested in fishing the Phoenix BFLs as a co angler in the South Carolina division next season. I called MLF and got some info and they recommended I join the BFL Facebook group to link with a boater, which I did.

I’ve posted a couple of times about linking w/ a boater but haven’t got one response in several weeks.

Is there anything else I should try/do? Does anyone know a boater that needs a co link?

I do own a 22’ Skeeter zxr20 and could also link with a co, but wanted to be a co to try and LEARN as much as I can from others!

Brian Barde - my son loves fishing the neko rig - he destroys me on it! I really like fishing it, but dont see the success he does even though we use the same setups. Must be something he "has" that I dont about the way he fishes it!

I don't want to fish with Brian because I want to try and steal secrets or uncover any of his fishing spots. I want to fish with Brian because I want to learn how to be a better angler.

Specifically, I want to learn "how" to fish certain techniques the right way - I learn best by watching/doing but struggle to see success with what I watch online and apply myself. I need someone to show me in person and correct what I'm doing wrong.

Ultimately, this isn't about me though, I spend time as a "student" of the sport so I can teach my son how to catch more fish - which is something we enjoy doing together!

Do you ever like to put a nail weight in it (which of course makes it a neko) or do you just prefer to fish it without?
