This place is where you will find a true community. It’s so much more than just a school where you learn things. It is a sense of home and family.

Started the morning with a surprise. 5lb 1oz on a white top water popper. Ended up having a productive bag for the day and didn’t throw one Jerkbait. Happy Holidays.

Night fishing: Now that I don’t have to worry about snakes and gators at my feet that I can’t see at night, I need to learn night fishing for bass. Any tips and suggestions would be appreciated. Need to get my ‘Night Moves’ on! I’m sure I’ll be entering some night tournaments here in Florida. Thanks in advance.

Boat registration tomorrow. Figured I’d ‘beat the bank’ as Dodson says. This is one of those WTH moments on the Tamiami Trail.

This might sound odd to some but something to think about. We are all learning daily about fishing. During a recent conversation with a friend the subject of “Paying it forward” came up. After the movie came out around year 2000 there was a movement. Who else remembers it and tries to practice it when the opportunity arises? It sure makes me feel good when I get the chance.

Pay it forward is an expression for describing the beneficiary of a good deed repaying the kindness to others rather than paying it back to the original benefactor. It is also called serial reciprocity.
