I almost went there but read it’s dangerously shallow for boats right now. . Hey check out Rodman reservoir. They did a drawdown and even FWC is reporting massive quantities of catches right now

Let’s do it

A bird in the hand beats two in a bush. There is a tremendous amount of pressure relieved when you get your limit. I personally wouldn’t risk losing that swinging for the fences early on. Keep with the process that got you there.

I thought that was a great session. It supported everything I’ve been able to research the past few years. With that said, I’m sticking to my Purple Rain and Smoke Purple SMH. Jerkbait will vary depending on where I’m fishing, cloud cover and water clarity. I always have a few red crankbaits on hand.

It’s almost like you’ve been hanging out with an offshore guy.

Peter, I live a little more than an hour from Okeechobee so it’s my back yard. Let me know if you want to get together and fish it

I switch back and forth from scout mode to forward mode a lot. If I haven’t side scanned an area scout mode gives me a quick overview of the area as you can see through my screen that needed to be cleaned.

I’ve been on Butler Chain, Hatchineha, Cypress, and Harris this past week. It’s tough right now in Central Florida. Go junk fishing. Swindle defines it as putting 4 or 5 rods with your confidence baits on your deck. Pick the baits with the most teeth bites in em and tie them on. Downsize instead of going bigger. Stop analyzing and just start fishing. I’ll take a ride today or tomorrow and launch there to see what I can figure out for ya.
