It read around 11 feet. All I knew before today was that I could throw a crankbait that dove 6 feet over the top of it that I wouldnā€™t get hung up šŸ˜‚

Thereā€™s one area of a lake I frequent where I learned to not throw baits that make contact with the bottom. I didnā€™t know what was there, but through trial and error I knew Iā€™d get hung or loose a lure if I threw a Texas rig over there. I assumed it was a gnarly stump or something, but today I finally got some answers šŸ˜‚ this side scan thing is truly a gift!

Iā€™m throwing my hat in the ring for the SUF School Angler Development program on the co-angler side!

As I prepare to take the jump from BASS to the BFLs in 2025, Iā€™m excited to continue to grow as an angler. I know I still have a lot to learn when it comes to making the right adjustments on the water, breaking down outcomes, and consistently performing when youā€™ve got a limited amount of time.

The coaching and guidance offered by the SUF Schoolā€™s Angler Development Sponsorship would be a game-changer for me. This opportunity would not only help me sharpen my skills but also give me the tools to better understand the mental and strategic aspects of tournament bass fishing.

Iā€™m ready to put in the work, soak up as much knowledge as possible, and become the best angler I can be. Whether Iā€™m chosen or not, Iā€™m excited about the chance to take my passion for fishing to the next level while competing in the BFLs! If any of yā€™all have fished as a co in both in the Bass Opens and the BFLs, are there many big differences youā€™ve noticed?

Can you teach how to back a boat during one of these meet upā€™s in 2025? šŸ˜‚
